The climate has changed, and this presents severe challenges for local Kingston residents. In partnership with Kingston Frontenac Public Library, and with support from Wawanesa’s Climate
Initiative Champions grant we are holding two free 90-min workshops for local residents.
From the workshop you’ll learn to:
Understand today’s risks: Explore how climate impacts, such as extreme heat, poor air quality, flooding, and severe storms, are already affecting Kingston’s most vulnerable populations and the organizations that support them.
Prepare for tomorrow: Gain insight into Kingston’s projected climate future and what it means for service delivery, client safety, staffing, infrastructure, and continuity of essential programs.
Build resilience: Leave with practical tools, templates and strategies to strengthen your organization’s emergency preparedness, protect clients and staff, and ensure you can continue delivering services during climate-related disruptions.
Registration is free and opens 3 weeks before the workshop. Register here: The Climate Resilience Series - Kingston Frontenac Public Library
