Better Homes Kingston
Better Homes Kingston is a program to encourage homeowners to undertake deep-energy retrofits. Homeowners who participate in the program can qualify for local improvement charge (LIC) financing at low interest rates to help fund energy saving retrofits to their homes.
Better Homes Kingston Update
The Better Homes Kingston pilot program launched on April 11th, 2022, and wrapped up in April 2026. In that time, the program helped fund over 365 projects, reducing emissions in participating homes by over 66% on average.
The program aims to relaunch in the spring of 2026, with a new set of funding and incentive opportunities.
