On May 24th, Sustainable Kingston is hosting its First Annual Evening of Recognition. We are now accepting nominations for the Sustainable Leadership Awards. The awards will recognize and celebrate the outstanding individuals, businesses, and organizations enhancing the livability and resiliency of Kingston, and will be presented during the event.

Nominations Criteria:
From 2017-2020, Sustainable Kingston is focusing its work on driving measurable improvements in the Kingston community across six priority areas. Nominations must speak to efforts specific to at least one of the priority areas:
Climate Action - A community that is responding to Climate Change
Economic Prosperity - A smart local economy and an increased standard of living for everybody
Food Security - A community with healthy, local and affordable food for everybody
Environmental Stewardship - A community that shares the responsibility of protecting and sustaining our shared environment
Sustainable Transportation - A community where we incorporate sustainable modes of transportation in our travel
Sense of Community - A community where everybody feels welcome and is encouraged to participate and be engaged.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Nominees must be a business, organization or individual in the Kingston CMA
- Self-Nominations are permitted
- We are now accepting nominations until April 30, 2017
- We will confirm nominees can attend the Evening of Recognition on May 10, 2017
